Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon Proudly Supporting Launch Housing

Tri for Home! Join us in the race to end homelessness.

Did you know that over 30,000 people in Victoria won’t have a home to sleep in tonight?

As Victoria’s largest independent specialist homelessness organisation and community housing provider, Launch Housing has been supporting and advocating for people impacted by homelessness in Melbourne for over 75 years.

Launch Housing’s work is more crucial than ever as our community faces a once-in-a generation housing and cost of living crisis.

You can make a difference by registering for the Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon. Use your fundraising page to inspire your network, raise vital funds for Launch Housing and bring hope to people doing it tough in Melbourne.

Every dollar you raise will go to programs providing housing, health, education, and employment support, helping people break free from the cycle of homelessness.

LEARN MORE ABOUT LAUNCH HOUSING

Melbourne is a progressive city, consistently ranked as one of the most liveable in the world. However, sadly, our city is facing a growing homelessness crisis. One of the leading causes is domestic and family violence, with children and young people making up more than one-third of the people without a home.

Too many people in our city are just a pay cycle or two away from homelessness. There’s a shortage of affordable homes, and rents are at a record high. A job no longer guarantees a home, and data shows that an increasing number of people who are in paid employment are seeking the support of homelessness services.

But amidst this crisis, there is hope. Solutions exist. With more homes and more support, we can end homelessness in Melbourne.

Last year, Launch Housing supported over 14,000 people with a range of innovative housing and homelessness solutions. They need your help to keep up with growing demand and to continue supporting people in our community who are facing tough times.

Every dollar you raise will go to programs providing housing, health, education and employment support, helping people break free from the cycle of homelessness.

  • $500 can pay the bond to help a young person experiencing homelessness secure housing.
  • $200 can provide a night of safety for a family escaping a violent home.
  • $100 helps cover the cost of school supplies so a child can attend school.
  • $50 can cover the cost of utility bill so a mother doesn’t have to make the impossible choice between food and electricity.
